Like risk mitigation decisions, the consequences of not paying enough attention to the quality management are not witnessed immediately. Consequently, when schedules and budgets are tight, team alignment and quality assurance tasks are usually the first to be cut. The Project Value Game® helps participants see the ripple effects of poor quality assurance over time, generating a desire for the prevention and early removal of errors. |

Risk
Nowhere is it easier to blame "bad luck" than for consequences that come from poor risk mitigation and identification. Time delays cloud the cause and effect relationship between risk management and its consequences, making the consequences from poor risk management appear to be "random" to team members. The Project Value Game® helps participants see past the "bad luck" and focus on actions within their control to eliminate or mitigate disastrous risks.
