Each team of participants is given a project "case" to plan and execute on the game board. From staffing delays to dwindling stakeholder support, the way real projects operate is built into the flow of the game. There are three roles for participants to play:

The Project Value Game® offers project teams an environment where they can experience the interrelated dynamics of a real project. By compressing time and space The Project Value Game® clarifies these the cause and effect of these interactions, and provides a fun and interesting way to build teamwork. Participants also get a chance to play a role that is different from their traditional role on theproject. By "walking in the other guy's shoes" for a while they see the pressures of the role and the rationale behind certain decisions. Teams practice new approaches and behaviors and get quick unambiguous feedback on their performance.
